BLOC Buddies

On Monday afternoons during the school year, we gather at Joe B Foster Park on Avenue D for BLOC Buddies! Neighborhood kids come and play basketball and board games, make crafts, eat snacks, and do other activities that burn off after-school energy. They get to make new friends with each another and our BLOC Buddies!

BLOC Buddies creates a space where kids can play safely and parents can connect, to strengthen ties in the community and deepen relationships with one another. BLOC Buddies also surfaces good things that are happening in the neighborhood, as well as needs we can help meet.
